SAMCO Test Tubes and Culture Tubes are made of machine-drawn, uniform thickness, low expansion borosilicate glass tubing. The base has uniform thickness to withstand both, mechanical as well as thermal shocks. The rims, where provided, are strong. Test Tubes (Culture Tubes) without a rim have heavy, fire-polished ends that are resistant to mechanical shocks of daily use. You will find that in the long run, it is economical to use SAMCO Tubes only.
